The Name
In 1675, Abraham Gabemma arrived in the Paarl Valley here in Western Cape, South Africa, and named the granite rock, “De Diamondt” and “de Pearlberg”, which translates to “The Diamond” and “Pearl Mountain”.
Today “de Diamondt” and “de Pearlberg” is known as Paarl Mountain.
Similar to Abraham Gabemma, we at La Perle (pearl in French), thrive to explore and search for perfection.

The Brand
At the beginning of 2018, the owner decided to open a unique store as an extension of her (then) printing business that she had for years, as well as her love for beauty and décor. It was important to give the brand a local feeling and to totally focus on organic and natural linens and cottons. To be sustainable and to create unique décor pieces.
LAPERLE started off in a very small shop in Paarl, Western Cape, South Africa but soon branched into a fully functioning online store that caters for local, national, and international customers.
With years of experience within the printing field, we could now specialize in digital textile(fabric) printing, where we print directly onto natural fibres.
Our field of expertise has evolved from linen and cottons to wallpaper and will soon include custom designed wooden furniture reflecting our philosophy: to offer unique features; be of the highest quality that you will love for years to come.
We offer a bespoke service where we use our own design, your design or we create something from scratch to suit your specifications.
